August 10, 2002: Vladimir
Vladimir Meet Vladimir. Prince Vladimir, to be exact, but you can call him Vlad. I'm sure he won't mind.

I started off planning to have Vlad be one of the lead chars. Somewhere along the lines, though, I realized the role I wanted him to play wouldn't fit with his personality. Or with another's (who shall remain nameless ;) ), because he/she just wouldn't be able to cross that certain hurdle to enable that role.

So, that role kinda dissolved, but its remnants distributed over to the other demons, so it still kinda exists. Just not the way I originally intended. Which is, hey, fine with me. :)

Vlad's distinguishing facial features are "long" and "sharp," if that makes any sense. His thin lips, slanted eyes, and smirk are his trademark. I picture him as being the type who could whisper erotic nothings in your ear while slitting your torso open with one claw.

No, really, I am a cute innocent girl, despite popular opinion. ;)

He's so sure of himself. . .

Here, above, are two depictions of him in the "is / is not" category. As in, he's the one typically wearing the flowing cape and devious smile on his face. His characteristics and personality will not let him be the type to wear shorts like those or look like a beach boy. It is not him, and he's disdainful of it. He knows his place, elevated status as it is, and is proud of it.

Another sneak peek panel for your enjoyment:

Devious!
