A Most Embarrassing Shade of Orange
Hey-Diddle-Diddle

It started out quite innocently, so Raidou would later say. He had been standing to the side in the mission room, waiting for Genma, when the younger man held out his mission report for Iruka. The teacher reached out distractedly and Genma pounced. He grabbed Iruka's hand with his left hand and grabbed the teacher's sleeve with the right hand, pushing the fabric up and over the elbow, nearly to the shoulder.

"A-hah!" Genma whooped triumphantly. There, on Iruka's arm, bared by Genma for all the world to see, was a tattoo of a dragon in a most embarrassing shade of orange. "A-hah!" Genma cried again, completely oblivious to the glare of death (tm) that Iruka was giving him.

If looks could kill... No, looks could kill, Raidou decided, his heart missing more than a few beats when Iruka transferred his glare from Genma to him.

"Come on, Genma," Raidou tried desperately. He was rather fond of his boyfriend, and it might strain his relationship with Iruka if the teacher killed said boyfriend.

"Did you see?" the younger jounin asked excitedly, turning to Raidou. Iruka took advantage of Genma's momentary distraction and pulled his sleeve back down. "Did you see? I told Anko he had a tattoo, but noooo, she wouldn't believe me."

At this point Iruka's face was turning mottled shades of red, presumably from rage, and the red colors were nearly as embarrassing as the orange of his tattoo. He stood up slowly, chair scraping across the floor ominously, but Genma paid it no heed, still blabbering to Raidou excitedly. Raidou clenched his eyes shut as Iruka reached out his hands for Genma's neck. Genma broke off, giving a suprised 'urk' sound, and Raidou shoved his fingers into his ears. No need to hear his boyfriend die, after all.

Yes, it'd all started out so innocently, Raidou would later say at the funeral, wiping away a tear from his eye. So very, very innocently.
